The NIBCO® PEX stub-out elbow is designed for use with NIBCO® PEX in potable water and radiant heating systems. The NIBCO® PEX stub-out elbow is made of copper and features a PEX end connection. Stub-outs allow for pressure testing of the systems before installation of stop valves. The stub-out elbow is not recommended for use with stainless steel clamps. Please refer to NIBCO® technical data sheets and catalogs for engineering and installation information. NIBCO® PEX fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Joining can be accomplished with NIBCO® copper crimp ring, copper sleeves or stainless steel sleeves. The NIBCO® PEX system requires fewer fittings than traditional rigid plumbing systems resulting in fewer potential leak paths.
