About this item

WATTS® Pressure Reducing Valve, High Capacity, 2-1/2 in Nominal, FNPT, 25 to 75 psi, 33 to 160 deg F, Media: Water, 9 in Inlet to Outlet Length, 10-3/4 in Top to Inlet Center, Cast Iron Body, Buna-N® O-Ring, Domestic

This 2-1/2 in high capacity lead free water pressure reducing valve is commonly installed at the meter in residential, industrial and commercial buildings. It is designed to control the water pressure flowing to all the appliances and outlets within the building and provides an inexpensive means of supplying lower, more functional water pressure to outlets and appliances. It features an iron body construction with FNPT inlet and outlet connections, high temperature resisting enlarged diaphragm for hot or cold temperatures, a sealed spring cage and seat orifice for high capacity performance. This valve can be used for pit installations or accessible outdoor waterworks. The adjustable reduced pressure range is 25 to 75 psi.
