The NIBCO® PEX lead-free bronze insert coupling is designed for use with PEX in potable water and radiant heating system applications. The bronze insert coupling is manufactured from lead-free Performance Bronze® alloy and features PEX end connections. The fitting is used to connect two lengths of PEX tubing together. Please refer to NIBCO® technical data sheets and catalogs for engineering and installation information. NIBCO® PEX fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Joining can be accomplished with NIBCO® copper crimp ring, copper sleeves or stainless steel sleeves. The NIBCO® PEX system requires fewer fittings than traditional rigid plumbing systems resulting in fewer potential leak paths.
