Check Valves & Backflow Preventers

A Check valves are the valve that closes to prevent backward flow of a liquid, i.e. is a?ÿvalve?ÿthat normally allows fluid or liquid or gas to flow through it in only one direction. Check valves are two-port valves, meaning they have two openings in the body, one for fluid to enter and the other for fluid?ÿto leave. Backflow preventer is designed to keep the undesirable reversal of flow of a liquid, gas, or suspended solid into the potable water supply.
