If not for three days in 1992, Kenny Pipe & Supply, Inc. wouldn't be in existence.

Three days is how long it took Bill Kenny, then VP of Operations at Westburne Supply, Inc. – Memphis, to decide to purchase five Westburne locations. He had to act fast because Westburne would soon put the locations on the open market. And the rest is history.

When Kenny Pipe & Supply, Inc. was formed, sales were at $10+ million, with 65 employees, and five locations. Today, the company has grown to sales approaching $90 million with 11 locations (plus corporate) and nearly 200 employees. In addition to wholesale branch locations offering plumbing supplies, the company has launched Kenny & Company, a high-end kitchen, bath, and tile boutique focusing on the architect and designer community and Kenny Bath & Kitchen Showcase showrooms to serve our more traditional builder and plumber customers. The company has also opened an Industrial Division to handle the PVF (pipes/valves/fittings) needs of Power, Ethanol and Chemical industrial plants. It covers a 150 mile radius of Nashville but through business partnerships that have been developed, is handling projects located in Canada, the Island of Trinidad, Hawaii and the 48 contiguous states.

Bill Kenny strives to improve the wholesaler environment and promote entrepreneurship by actively participating in several industry affiliations. Representatives of KPS serve throughout the year on executive committees, executive boards and attend annual conventions for:

• ASA-American Supply Association
• PHCC- Plumbing/Heating/Cooling Contractors Association, Inc.
• Industry /Business related associations at the city level
